— Good to know

Questions, answered.

Where is GOAT?

GOAT is at 12 Wyndham Street, Auckland CBD 1010, between Federal and Albert Streets — a short walk from Queen Street and Commercial Bay.

What are the opening hours?

Dinner runs Tuesday to Sunday from 5pm — until 9:30pm Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday, and until 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Lunch is served Friday to Sunday, 12–3pm. We are closed on Mondays.

Where can I park?

Three Wilson car parks are within a few minutes on foot: SAP Tower (entry at 17 Wyndham Street, about 1 minute), Durham Lane (5 Durham Lane, about 2 minutes), and Farmers (entry at 21 Hobson Street, about 3 minutes).

Do I need to book?

The room is small, so booking is recommended — reserve online at goatakl.co.nz/book or call 09 3777 414. Walk-ins are seated when space allows.

Is there vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free food?

Yes. A generous share of the menu is vegetarian or plant-based — from the Kathal-e-Galwat jackfruit kebab to paneer, daal and seasonal vegetable dishes — and gluten-free roti is available. Tell us your dietary requirements when you book. Our kitchen handles dairy, nuts and gluten, so cross-contamination is possible.

What is "Leave it to the GOAT"?

Our chef’s tasting experience: four courses composed by Sid Chopra on the afternoon you arrive, from $85 per person. Tell us what you can’t eat and we take care of the rest. Wine pairing available.

Can you host groups or private dining?

Yes — for tables of ten or more we serve The Regional Table, a set group menu at $95 per person. Enquire at goatakl.co.nz/menu-groups or email hello@goatakl.co.nz and we’ll put something together.

Are children welcome?

Yes — we have a dedicated kids’ menu. You’ll find it at goatakl.co.nz/menu-kids.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes — digital gift cards are available at goatakl.co.nz/gift, delivered instantly by email, valid for 24 months and redeemable on anything.

How do I contact GOAT?

Call 09 3777 414, email hello@goatakl.co.nz, or message @goat.akl on Instagram.
