GOAT by Sid Chopra ("GOAT", "we") operates the restaurant at 12 Wyndham Street, Auckland CBD, and this website. We collect only the personal information we need to host you well, and we handle it in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

Bookings. Table reservations are processed by Now Book It (nowbookit.com), which collects your name, contact details, party size and any dietary notes on our behalf. Their handling of that information is described in their own privacy policy.

Enquiries. When you use our contact or group-dining forms, your name, email address and message are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service. We use them only to reply to you.

Gift cards. Gift card purchases are processed by Now Book It; we do not see or store your payment card details.

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, links clicked, approximate region). IP addresses are anonymised. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to filter automated spam.

What we don't do

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your details for third-party advertising. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.

How long we keep it

Booking and enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to host you and handle any follow-up, after which they are deleted in the ordinary course.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email hello@goatakl.co.nz and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
